The Library will be closed on Sunday, September 5th, and Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday, September 7th at 9AM.

There will be no Storytime on Monday, September 6th because the library is Closed.

Storytime will meet on Tuesday, September 7th at 10:30am. Storytime is for children ages 3-6 and their parent or caregiver.

Lapsit will meet on Wednesday, September 8th at 10:30am. Lapsit is for children ages Birth-3 and their parent or caregiver.

Kim Brown, The Real D.W. will be at the Library on Thursday, September 9th for a program at 7pm.  Come join us for this fun program where children will learn how to draw Arthur and can have books signed by D.W.

Book Club will meet again on September 13th at 3pm. They will be discussing “Look Again” by Lisa Scottoline.

Do You have a collection you would like to share with the library? If so we are looking for people to show off their collections in our display case. Contact the library for more information.

eBooks! Library patrons who have a library card from Lexington Public Library, are able to check out eBooks by accessing Overdrive on the library’s website. Compatible eBook devices include most Windows desktop, laptop, or notebook computers and Mac desktop or laptop computers.  Barnes & Noble Nook, Kobo eReader, and the Sony Reader are also compatible. Check the Overdrive Device Resource Center for more compatibility information. Audio books are still available by accessing Overdrive on the library’s website. Checking out audio books or eBooks using Overdrive is a free service of the Lexington Public Library.

The Library will be having a Book Sale. All books for $1.00 a bag!
